Ping Medina gave an update on the condition of his father Pen Medina and showed the veteran actor bedridden in the hospital, days before his scheduled spine surgery.
Pen has been hospitalized for several weeks due to Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD). According to his family, the actor’s condition made him unable to sit or stand.
Ping reiterated their family’s earlier call for prayers and financial support while showing a video of Pen lying in the hospital bed, via Ping’s Instagram page yesterday, July 17.
“Walk soon daddyow. Love you,” Ping said.
Pen also appears to be undergoing physical therapy although in bed, as he was seen doing stretching exercises with the help of medical staff.
Pen’s spine surgery is scheduled for tomorrow, July 19. His family also provided their contact and bank account details for those who want to extend help to the veteran actor. JB
