Zsa Zsa Padilla has arrived in Serbia to be with her daughter Zia Quizon, who is set to celebrate her “special day.”
While Padilla did not elaborate on what “special day” meant, Quizon earlier hinted about her tying the knot through a poem for her father, the late “King of Comedy” Dolphy. Quizon also showed a necklace with a heart pendant, two rings, and the names “aleksa + zia” written on a circular object.
Meanwhile, the Divine Diva gave fans a peek at the series of flights and car rides she took before arriving in Serbia, as seen on her Instagram page yesterday, July 11.
“Traveled to be with my bunso (youngest daughter) on her special day! Took the evening flight to Istanbul then connecting flight to Belgrade. Zia and fiancé Aleksa and his Dad came to pick me up at the airport. Took another [three-hour] ride to Nis, Serbia,” she told fans, opting not to disclose what “special day” was referring to.
Padilla added that despite being jet lagged, she is “super happy” and “can’t wait to meet the rest of the family.”
Padilla and Dolphy were together for 23 years before the comedian passed away at the age of 83, due to obstructive pulmonary disease.
The couple have two children together, Zia and their adopted daughter Nicole. Padilla is also the mother of singer-TV host Karylle, who she had with her ex-husband Modesto Tatlonghari. JB
