Ai-Ai delas Alas grieves over death of adoptive mother

Ai-Ai delas Alas is mourning over the passing of her aunt and eventual adoptive mother Justa delas Alas who passed away a few weeks before turning 94 years old.
The comedienne paid tribute to her adoptive mother by showing moments from the latter’s 90th birthday celebration on her Instagram page yesterday, June 23.
“Mamimiss kita (I will miss you) mama, mommy, mother goose, mudrakels and originally inay,” she said. “90th [birthday] n’ya ‘to. Hindi na n’ya inabot. Sa July 19, dapat 94 na s’ya.” (This was her 90th birthday. She did not make it. On July 19, she would have turned 94.)
“[Di bale], mama. Good life ka naman at saka hindi ka nahirapan sa pag-alis mo. The best ka talaga Lord, super pray ako kanina na ‘wag ka mahirapan and hindi nga,” Delas Alas added. “I love you and thank you sa pagmamahal, pagalaga, at pagpapaaral sa akin. Rest ka na mama. Kamusta mo ako kay Lord and Mama Mary.”
(No worries, mama. You had a good life and you did not suffer before you left. You really are the best Lord, I was super praying earlier that [mama] would not suffer and [she] did not. I love you and thank you for the love, care and for giving me education. Rest now mama. Send my regards to Lord and Mama Mary.)
