Rocco Nacino and his wife, volleyball player Melissa Gohing, have announced in a gender-reveal party that their first baby is going to be boy.
The actor gave fans a glimpse of the intimate event via his Instagram page yesterday, June 14. He and Gohing can be seen with loved ones at their home, where they popped party poppers that contained blue confetti, indicating they are having a son.
“We’re having a baby boy! So grateful to have our friends and family with us as we were surprised by our siblings last weekend!” Nacino said.
“Thankful for loved ones who joined us in person and via zoom! The weather did not allow us to do our gender reveal outside but luckily we had space inside the house to do the surprise!” he added in another post.
For her part, Gohing expressed excitement over meeting her “wild little boy” by showing more moments from the gender-reveal party via her Instagram page, also yesterday.
“Boy oh boy! We are overwhelmed with joy! Tanggap ko na mini me mo ito (I have accepted that he is your ‘mini me’),” she told her husband. “Getting rid of my heels to chase this wild little boy.”
Nacino and Gohing announced last month that they were expecting their first child, after initial struggles to conceive due to Gohing’s polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) diagnosis.
The couple have been together since 2017, when Nacino was invited to watch one of Gohing’s volleyball games. They got married in January 2021. /ra
