‘Running Man Philippines’ cast flying to South Korea to shoot episodes
The cast members of “Running Man Philippines,” the local adaptation of South Korea’s longest-running variety show “Running Man,” will be going to the said country to shoot its episodes for the whole season.
The cast, which includes Glaiza de Castro, Mikael Daez, Ruru Madrid, Kokoy De Santos, Buboy Villar, Lexi Gonzales and Angel Guardian, made the announcement after performing at GMA’s show “All-Out Sundays,” as seen on the network’s YouTube channel yesterday, June 12.
“We will be in Korea until August. We are super excited to announce na lahat ng episode ng ‘Running Man Philippines’ doon mismo namin gagawin sa locations ng original ‘Running Man,'” Daez said, adding that they will be flying out this month.

Article continues after this advertisement“Running Man Philippines” is co-produced by GMA Network and the South Korean television network SBS. The show is set to premiere this year but no exact date has been announced, as of writing.
The original “Running Man,” which first aired in 2010, stars Yoo Jae-suk, Ji Suk-jin, Kim Jong-kook, Haha, Song Ji-hyo, Yang Se-chan and Jeon So-min. Korean actor Lee Kwang-soo was also part of its original cast but he left the show last year due to an injury from a car accident. JB
