Kyla has revealed that she suffered a miscarriage for the fourth time while looking back at the excitement and joy she felt before she lost her baby.
The R&B singer opened up on her miscarriage while showing a video of herself dancing and rubbing her belly via her Instagram page today, June 3.
“You have brought me so much joy, even for a few months that I carried you within me. It was all pure joy,” she said. “But losing you… again… for the fourth time is unimaginable. I can’t even put my feelings into words.”
Kyla admitted that she is struggling with her loss especially since she did not tell anyone about her pregnancy. She noted that she and her husband Rich wanted to share the news of her pregnancy to their family, but ended up expressing their grief instead. Despite this, she believes that all things will work out someday.
“I know things will be ok in the end. I thank God for his presence in my life. I thank God for touching my heart right at this moment,” she told fans. “Everyday, I have to intentionally look for just about anything that’ll make me happy. I have to constantly remind myself that God has already placed people in my life to love — people that I need in life.”
“He has blessed me with the best ones to love and love me back. Everything else is just bonus. Lord, have it your way. I surrender all my hurt to you,” she added.
Kyla then addressed her departed baby, hoping that she was able to fully express her love for her child despite the miscarriage.
“And to you, my little one… I pray for you. I hope you’ve felt how much we longed for you, prayed for you and how much we love you,” she stated.
Kyla was consoled by fellow celebrities including Jolina Magdangal, Angeline Quinto, TJ Monterde, Karylle, Melai Cantiveros and Rocco Nacino.
“Ate Kyla, gusto kita yakapin ngayon. I’m praying for you ate,” Quinto told Kyla. (Kyla, I want to hug you right now. I am praying for you.)
“Prayers to you and the family,” Nacino said.
Kyla suffered two miscarriages back in 2018, then had another one in July last year. She welcomed her son Toby Elsiah back in May 2013, but expressed hope to have another child in 2019. /ra
