Heart Evangelista took fans with her on her trip to the Cannes Film Festival, which she finally got to attend for the first time.
The actress talked about her experience in Cannes so far while showing herself setting up her outfit for the day, via her Instagram page yesterday, May 26.
“Good morning everybody from Manila. I am in Cannes. It is my first time so I’m gonna make this day a great day,” she said.
“It’s just so much fun, so much art, so many nice stores, and the people are just alive and kicking. I am just having such an amazing time,” she added. “This was indeed such an experience and there’s just so much more that’s going to be happening. So I’m glad I could take you guys with me.”
Prior to this, Evangelista gave a glimpse of her flight to Paris, where she stayed overnight before going to Cannes. She can be seen giving a goodbye kiss to her husband, Sorsogon governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero, and waiting at an airport with her glam team.
“I’m so excited to appear at the red carpet. It’s just a first-time experience for me,” she gushed.
In January this year, Evangelista also experienced another first as she took her first solo trip to Paris Fashion Week. She went to the event with no glam team, calling it her “very first trip as an independent woman.” /ra
