Michael V. has written another poem expressing his thoughts on the May 9 elections and how Filipinos can move forward after it.

The comedian showed his poem “Sama All” along with a flag-inspired artwork he created, via his Instagram page today, May 26. He talked about the various meanings a person can get from a poem while addressing his “kakampi (allies).”

“‘United we stand, divided we fall’ / Lahat ng talong kandidato, napapa-‘sana all’ / Kung daya man o peke, o may mahiwagang troll / Tama bang sabihing 31 million ang nabudol?”

Michael V. asked the public to be careful with their actions, comparing the Philippines to a car on the road.

For the “Bubble Gang” and “Pepito Manaloto” star, the recent elections can teach the public to be wise and look for verified information.

“Maging alisto at matalino. Magmasid bago mag-plano / Dapat e may hangganan; radikal man ang puso mo,” he stated. “[…] ‘Wag ka nang magpa-apekto. Hindi wakas ang pagkatalo.”

Earlier this month, Michael V. penned the poem “Mindset,” saying he respects “the voice of Filipinos,” but will continue to keep an eye on those voted by the public.

Michael V. did not explicitly express support for the presidential bid of a specific candidate during the elections, though he stated “pink ang dugo ko (my blood is pink)” when he wrote “Mindset.” Pink is associated with the campaign of presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo.

Meanwhile, President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. was proclaimed winner in the May 9 elections yesterday, May 25. His running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte was proclaimed vice president.  /ra
