Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus are calling an end to their marriage again as Tish filed for divorce from the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer after 28 years of marriage.

Tish, a producer, filed for divorce from Billy Ray in Williamson County, Tennessee, last Wednesday, April 6. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for divorce, adding that she and Billy Ray have not lived together in more than two years, according to documents obtained by People yesterday, April 11.

Billy Ray and Tish, who tied the knot in 1993, have five children together: Miley, Noah, Trace, Brandi and Braison. Given that their youngest child Noah is 22 years old, a judge does not need to figure out custody for their children.

“It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways—not with sadness, but with love in our hearts,” the couple said in a joint statement they sent exclusively to People, also yesterday.

Billy Ray and Tish added that “it is now time to create [their] own paths,” but they will “always be family.” They also look forward to their shared experience as friends and parents.

“We have not come to this decision lightly or quickly but with so much going on in the world, we wanted to provide some clarity and closure, so we can remain focused on what is important,” they told fans.

This marks the third time that the pair went through divorce. Back in 2010, Billy Ray filed for divorce, but announced five months later that he was withdrawing his petition.

Tish then filed for divorce in June 2013, but she and Billy Ray later said they were able to save their marriage through couple’s therapy. Dana Cruz /ra
