Joshua Garcia and basketball player Trina Guytingco may be poking fun at rumors linking them as she appeared to jokingly call Garcia her “rumored boyfriend.”
The two sent fans giddy over their recent exchange online, on Guytingco’s Instagram post last Wednesday, April 6.
She showed photos of herself from her recent Palawan vacation with Garcia’s friend group that includes Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Ria Atayde and Alora Sasam, among others.
“Nice shot!” Garcia told Guytingco.
“Thanks rumored boyfriend,” she replied, along with laughing emoji.
Garcia then seemed to find the response funny, replying with “you’re welcome” and a laughing emoji as well.

Speculations that Garcia and Guytingco are an item started circulating online after Garcia posted late last month Instagram Stories showing Guytingco. Netizens went abuzz further when the athlete was seen with Garcia’s arm around her shoulder via Sasam‘s Instagram page last March 28.
Guytingco is not the first girl to be linked to Garcia recently. He was previously rumored to be dating Ria Atayde since he joined the actress’ friend group in their outings, though Atayde stressed in an interview with Cinema One’s “Pop Cinema” that Garcia was only a “very good friend.” /ra
