Daniel Padilla and her mother, actress-TV host Karla Estrada, have finally opened their own branch of a fried chicken and fast food franchise in Tacloban.
Estrada treated fans to glimpses of their opening event which was attended by a huge number of people, via her Instagram page yesterday, April 5.
“My children are my pride, my joy and my greatest blessings! Wala akong mapaglagyan ng ligaya anak, [Daniel Padilla] (I can’t contain my happiness, my son Daniel Padilla),” she said.
She also addressed Padilla in her appreciation post and expressed her hope of taking more business ventures with him.
“Palalaguin natin ito ng magkahawak kamay kasama ng mga kapatid mo. Dagdagan pa natin para mas marami pa tayong ma- inspire at higit sa lahat marami pang mabigyan ng trabaho!” she stated.
(We will make this grow hand in hand with your siblings. Let’s add more so we can inspire more people, and most importantly, provide more jobs.)
The mother and son received congratulatory messages from fellow celebrities Iza Calzado, Marjorie Barretto and Ruffa Gutierrez. Actress Kathryn Bernardo’s mom Min Bernardo also sent her well wishes to Estrada and Padilla.

Estrada announced that they will be opening their fast food franchise last month and described their business venture as a “dream come true.”
Meanwhile, Padilla and Kathryn recently celebrated her birthday in a Palawan beach trip with their celebrity friends Ria Atayde, Joshua Garcia and Alora Sasam. JB
