Ion Perez to Vice Ganda on his birthday: ‘Paulit-ulit kitang pipiliin’

Ion Perez vowed that he would always choose to be with his partner Vice Ganda as he marked the comedian’s 46th birthday yesterday, March 31.
The actor expressed his love for Vice Ganda during the latter’s birthday celebration on the noontime show “It’s Showtime,” also yesterday.
“Sa aking best friend, lover, partner… Araw-araw naman niyang naririnig sa akin ito kasi sa tuwing magdarasal kami, lagi kong ipinagdarasal talaga na bigyan pa kami ng mahabang panahon para magsama,” Perez said. (To my best friend, lover, partner… He always hears this from me because whenever we pray, I always pray that we will be given a long time together.)
“Siguro ang masasabi ko lang sa ‘yo babe, paulit-ulit kitang pipiliin. Siguro kahit sa kabilang-buhay, baka ikaw ‘yung piliin ko pa rin,” he added. (Maybe what I can say to you babe, I will always choose you. Maybe even in the afterlife, I would still choose you.)
Perez also promised that he would give all his heart to Vice Ganda, who replied with “I love you.” The two then shared a kiss offscreen.
Last Wednesday, March 30, Vice Ganda was surprised by friends and family with a BTS-themed party to mark his birthday. The gathering was attended by his “It’s Showtime” co-hosts Amy Perez, Kim Chiu, Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpuz, among others.
Vice Ganda and Perez revealed last February that they had a wedding commitment ceremony in Las Vegas in October 2021. The couple have been together for three years now after revealing in 2019 that they have already been in a relationship for a year. They are set to celebrate their fourth anniversary in October. /ra
