Tony Labrusca has been cleared of acts of lasciviousness as alleged in a case filed against him last year, his legal counsel confirmed.

According to the actor’s lawyer, Joji Alonso, the court affirmed findings that there was no probable cause for the complaint against Labrusca. This was said in a joint statement from Labrusca’s lawyers on Alonso’s Facebook page yesterday, March 18. They cited a resolution penned by judge Xavier Paolo Del Castillo.

Alonso also showed copies of the court ruling dismissing the complaint, dated Thursday, March 17. Makati prosecutor Dindo Venturanza earlier dismissed the complaint against Labrusca in December 2021 for lack of probable cause.

Alonso then described the ruling as “vindication” for Labrusca as she commended the justice system for the resolution on the case.

The acts of lasciviousness case was filed against Labrusca in June last year, after he allegedly molested a woman on the night of Jan. 16, 2021.

The actor had been accused of flicking the straps of a woman’s clothing “to expose her breast” and “pulling her towards himself to sit her on his lap.”

He also faced a complaint of aggravated slight physical injuries for allegedly choking a man who helped him down the stairs “for being too drunk that night.”  /ra
