The hit Filipino-Thai film “Suddenly It’s Magic” which features Thai superstar Mario Maurer and Erich Gonzales has started streaming today for free via Star Cinema’s official YouTube channel.
The movie, which marks its 10th anniversary in October this year, made its theatrical debut in 2012.
It was created in response to Maurer’s huge popularity in the Philippines, notably after the hit Thai film “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” (also called “A Thing Called Love” and “First Love”) garnered him more Filipino fans. “Suddenly It’s Magic” explores the romance between a huge Thai star and his Filipino baker girlfriend.

While it has nearly been a decade since their film was first released, Gonzales still remains friends with Maurer, even collaborating with his brother on a music video.
Maurer meanwhile is in a relationship with a Filipino-Thai actress-singer Junji, whom he greeted on Valentine’s Day in his Instagram page.
