Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes’ daughter Zia gets fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes’ daughter Zia has completed her COVID-19 vaccinations after receiving her second jab at a drive-through site.
Zia took her second COVID-19 shot at Pediatrico in Muntinlupa City, based on Dantes’ Instagram post yesterday, Feb. 28. The actor showed Zia holding a sign stating the name of the clinic and the words “I’m fully vaxxed.”
“It’s ate Z’s second shot today and we did it via [drive-through]. We were with [five] other kids inside the van since we were encouraged to do car pooling to manage traffic and limit the number of cars on the vaccination site,” he said.
Dantes showed his child with her “brave friends” who took their own jabs with Zia. He also commended those at the vaccination site for making the process “child-friendly.”
“Everything went smoothly, may pa-pizza, balloons at mascot pa (there were pizzas, balloons and even a mascot)! They really made sure that the whole process will be child-friendly and I think they did a good job!” he told fans.
Dantes added that the kids may consider the experience as a “regular fun [play day].” He then expressed happiness that Filipinos “can slowly expose our children to the world again.”
“Siyempre bilang tatay at magulang, importante sa akin na magkaroon ng mas malalim na pag-unawa ang mga anak ko sa nangyayari sa paligid nila. Kahit ‘yung simpleng paglalaro at pagiikot sa iba’t ibang lugar ay napakahalaga,” he stressed. “Magandang marami silang makita, matanong, makausap, at maramdaman.”
(Of course as a father and parent, it’s important for me that my children have a deep understanding of what’s happening around them. Even simply playing and going to various places are very important. It’s great that they have many things to see, ask, talk to and feel.)

Zia received her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine last month. Her brother Ziggy, who was welcomed by Dantes and Rivera in 2019, is only 2 years old and is still too young to get inoculated.
Celebrity kids who recently got their COVID-19 vaccines include Iya Villania and Drew Arellano’s son Primo, Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo’s children Lucho and Luna and Nadine Samonte’s eldest child Heather, among others. /ra
