Jessy Mendiola received an elegant diamond ring from her husband, actor-TV host Luis Manzano, as they marked their first anniversary as a married couple.
Mendiola noted how her love for her husband has become stronger since their marriage, on her Instagram page yesterday, Feb. 21. She also gave a glimpse of their beach photos as they appear to have celebrated the occasion in Boracay.
“Happy [first] anniversary, my love,” she said. “Thank you for choosing to love me everyday. I will never get tired of watching sunsets with you.”
The actress also thanked Manzano while treating fans to a closer look at the emerald cut diamond ring, via her Instagram Story, also yesterday.

Manzano, for his part, greeted Mendiola while showing photos from their Boracay trip. He referred to her as “Wowow,” a variation of their term of endearment “Howhow.”
“One down, forever to go,” he said.
Fellow celebrities who greeted the couple were Melai Cantiveros, Nikki Gil and Mariel Rodriguez.
Mendiola and Manzano tied the knot in an intimate wedding in April last year after four years of being together. The couple has been open about their readiness on having a child together, with Manzano recently asking his mother, veteran actress Vilma Santos items for babies, and Mendiola revealing that getting pregnant is her current priority.
