Luis Manzano now wants to be a dad, seriously; asks Vilma Santos for ‘gamit ng baby’

Luis Manzano has again expressed his intent to have a child, this time in a much more serious tone, as he asked for items for babies as gift from his mother Vilma Santos.
Manzano, who has been open about his readiness to become a father, appeared to have caught Santos off guard after he talked about wanting items for babies. This was after Santos asked Manzano and Ryan Recto, her son with husband Ralph Recto, what gift they would like to have if she were to give them one, in a vlog on her YouTube channel last Sunday, Jan. 30
“Ako? Gift para sa akin? Gamit para sa baby,” Manzano said, to which Santos asked if he meant it.
(Me? Gift for me? Necessities for babies.)
“Serious? Gusto mo na talaga? (Do you really want it already?),” Santos asked Manzano, while looking at him intently.
“Oo nga, totoo. Para menos gastos na ‘yon ‘di ba?” he added.
(Yes, it’s true. That would save me money, right?)
Santos described Manzano as someone who’s vocal with what he wants while noting how Ryan is his complete opposite. Manzano then talked about how he and Ryan appreciate their mother, and how they consistently make her feel loved.
“I love you and I will never get tired of saying it,” Manzano said. “We are both on the right track, reminding you every single time that we love you.”
Manzano has been married to actress Jessy Mendiola for almost a year now, after four years of being together. The couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding in April last year. Mendiola, meanwhile, recently revealed that getting pregnant was her current priority, adding that she hoped to have twins. /ra
