MIKAEL Garcia: “I hope Vic Sotto doesn’t join the political circus next year. Politics isn’t for him—it could destroy him. It’s dirty, so I fear for him. People love him for who he is, and he doesn’t have to be in politics to help other people. Whatever he does outside politics is more than enough for his followers.”

Lita Castillo, homemaker: “There’s something wrong, even unethical, when a charitable institution is made the beneficiary of a game show, especially if it’s based purely on chance. Usually, in cases like this, a celebrity is made to play the game for his chosen beneficiary. If he loses, he should be required to give a token amount to the organization, because I imagine that the beneficiary hopes for a sizable amount of money from the show for its needs.”
Kimberly Anne Marica, respiratory therapist: “I can’t wait to see Carla Abellana in her next drama series. She’s a good actress. She never fails to deliver.”
Ginger Ramos, mother of three: “I was never a fan of Kris Aquino. But after watching her show by accident, I think she has matured a lot as a talk-show host. Now, she listens to her guests more, looks interested in the topic being discussed, and is in control of the situation when her guests talk too much.
“But there’s one thing I find quite disturbing about her show, during the Kris Reality segments, in which her youngest son, Bimby, ‘bullies’ her. This isn’t a good example for parents and kids alike.”
