Vice Ganda treated his friends, family and boyfriend Ion Perez to a trip to Amanpulo, where they all welcomed the New Year.
The comedian went snorkeling, swimming and dining with his loved ones as they explored the high-end redort island, as seen on his YouTube vlog yesterday, Jan. 10. They also played volleyball on the beach and went on a cruise.
“We’re going to welcome 2022 in the most beautiful island in world, Amanpulo,” Vice Ganda gushed.
He then showed him and Perez in matching clothes as they counted down to the New Year and danced with their friends in a party.
Vice Ganda and Perez recently donated P500,000 to singer Regine Velasquez’s 10-day benefit concert “By Request,” as per reports. The concert is a fundraiser event for victims of super typhoon Odette.
The comedian, who is a friend and long-time fan of Velasquez, tuned into the concert and requested the Asia’s Songbird to sing “Follow the Sun.” Velasquez joked that he should donate at least P100,000 to the cause, but he reached out to her later on to say he would pledge a higher amount—P500,000.
“By Request” will continue streaming on ABS-CBN’s official YouTube and Facebook pages until Jan. 18. All proceeds will go to ABS-CBN Foundation’s campaign to give aid to over 60,000 families affected by typhoon Odette. /ra
