MTRCB suspends ‘T3’ for 3 months

MANILA, Philippines — “T3”, a news and public affairs program on TV5, has been suspended for three months after its hosts used the program to threaten a celebrity couple who figured in a brawl with their brother at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in April.

The Movie Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) also asked the show, hosted by, Erwin, Ben and Raffy Tulfo, to pay a P100,000 fine.

The show will be placed under probation after it has served its suspension, the MTRCB said.

The Tulfos, brothers of Philippine Daily Inquirer columnist and radio host Ramon “Mon” Tulfo, allegedly used their program to threaten Raymart Santiago and wife, Claudine Barretto, after they fought with Mon Tulfo at the NAIA over supposed photos taken by the columnist of Barrretto berating an airline staff.

Both camps have since filed charges against each other.
