Kiray Celis treated her father to a brand new smart phone as she welcomed the New Year with her family.
The “Goin’ Bulilit” alum delivered the surprise gift to her father, Jonathan, through the “Sandok Money Challenge,” as seen on her Facebook page yesterday, Jan. 3.
Celis showed each of her family members taking turns scooping money from a table while blindfolded, as part of the challenge. When it was her father’s turn to try the challenge, Celis placed a foldable smart phone on the tray that Jonathan was holding.
“Happy New Year, babies! Sandok Money Challenge ng aking pamilya [and] surprise regalo kay papa,” she said. “Sobrang saya! Naubos pera at boses ko.” (Sandok Money Challenge with my family and a surprise gift for papa. So happy! I ran out of money and lost my voice.)
Celis’ father was pleased with the gift as he thanked the actress for her kindness.
“Thank you, anak. Nagpapasalamat ulit ako sa kabaitan mo. Sobra-sobrang biyaya ang natanggap ko ngayon, happy ako,” he told Celis. (Thank you, my child. Thank you again for your kindness. I received so many blessings today, I’m happy.)
Celis previously surprised her father with P62,000 on his 62nd birthday last July 2021. She gave her mother P56,000 on her 56th birthday in June last year.
Meanwhile, the actress recently received an iPhone 13 and Louis Vuitton sandals as a Christmas treat from her boyfriend, Stephan Estopia. /ra
