Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez looked stunning as she wore a desert warrior-inspired outfit in a new glam shoot.
The Cebuana beauty queen donned a Mara Chua ensemble that features a white, long-sleeved top paired with white pants, as seen in a behind-the-scenes video on Chua’s Instagram page today, Dec. 7. The portraits were taken by fashion photographer Rxandy Capinpin.
“Sand storm Luigi is coming for the Universe,” Chua said.
The Miss Universe Philippines Organization, meanwhile, showed a black-and-white photo of Gomez from the shoot, as seen on its Instagram page yesterday, Dec. 6.
“Desert warrior realness,” it stated.
Gomez is representing the Philippines in the 70th Miss Universe pageant. She qualified for the competition after being crowned with the local title last September.
The beauty queen is already in Eilat, Israel, for the pageant, which will take place this Dec. 12 (Dec. 13 in the Philippines). She is hoping to win the fifth crown for the Philippines, following Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray. /ra
