Jennylyn Mercado’s camp has assured the public that the actress is doing well after a “medical emergency” amid rumors that she is pregnant.

Fans first speculated on Mercado’s supposed pregnancy when the lock-in taping for the series “Love, Die, Repeat” was stopped last week due to a “medical emergency” involving Mercado, as per Bandera last Wednesday, Sept. 29.

Mercado’s agency Becky Aguila Artist Management addressed the public through a statement on its Facebook page yesterday, Oct. 2. It thanked the actress’ fans for their concern, adding that Mercado is “in good health.”

“First of all, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who showed their concern over our artist, Jennylyn Mercado. We would like to assure the public that she is in good condition and in good health,” the management stated.

It also thanked the production staff and artists of “Love, Die, Repeat” for their understanding and support.

The agency did not give further details about the incident that led to ending the lock-in shoot. It did not address the pregnancy speculations as well.

Mercado and actor Xian Lim teased their first onscreen pairing by showing their story conference for “Love, Die, Repeat” last August. Mike Tan, Gardo Versoza, Valerie Concepcion, Shyr Valdez and Kim Domingo are also in the cast.

Mercado is in a relationship with actor Dennis Trillo. They celebrated their 7th anniversary last January.

The actress has one child, Alex Jazz, with her ex-boyfriend Patrick Garcia. Meanwhile, Trillo had his son Calix with his former girlfriend, beauty queen Carlene Aguilar. JB
