Although Molino and Mahal have never confirmed their relationship to the public, fans have long been speculating that the two were dating. Molino often appeared on Mahal’s YouTube vlog.

To end her tribute, Celis disclosed to fans that Mahal played the beloved alien Kokey in the classic Filipino film with Carlo Aquino in 1997.

“[By the way], short trivia po. Cool no?!

(By the way, just a quick trivia. I remember telling Ate Mahal back then that we should take a photo and I would caption it “I am with Kokey!!” Hehe! Did you know that she played the first Kokey? In the film with Carlo Aquino? Cool, right?! Hay Ate Noeme, it feels so good looking back at our fun times together. We love you very much ate!)

Aside from Celis, many other celebrities have paid tribute to the late comedienne, including Ai-Ai delas Alas, Rosanna Roces and Benjamin Alves, among others.  /ra
