Rachelle Ann Go returning to stage as Fantine in ‘Les Miserables’ soon

Rachelle Ann Go will be returning to the stage as Fantine in the upcoming “Les Miserables” concert run this late August and early September.

Go will be playing the said role for six shows in the Aug. 31 to Sept. 5 run of the hit musical, Les Miserables Official United Kingdom announced on Instagram yesterday, Aug. 19.

“Oh my! I wasn’t able to finish my @lesmizofficial run last year… so I’m really excited to do Les Miz Concert on my birthday! What a treat!” Go said as she shared the news on her own page.

“I hope Lukas won’t mind,” she added, referring to her newborn baby boy with husband Martin Spies.

“I need to start vocalizing & most importantly ‘pump’ for Lukas,” Go said.

For the final performance on Sept. 5, singer Lucie Jones will once again take on the role of Fantine in the said West End show.

In “Les Miserables,” Fantine is most known for being the voice behind the iconic song “I Dreamed a Dream.” The musical is based on Victor Hugo’s French historical novel of the same name.

Go, along with her family, is currently based in London. Aside from “Les Miserables,” she has starred in several West End productions including “Miss Saigon” and “Hamilton.”  /ra
