Ai-Ai delas Alas’ son survives car crash: ‘Salamat sa pangalawang buhay’
Ai-Ai delas Alas is beyond grateful after her son Nicolo survived a car crash in the United States with no major injury, in what she described as a “miracle.”
“Na-hit and run kotse niya at nahulog sa bangin pero sa milagro ng Diyos, walang galos anak ko. [Pina-x-ray] pa din siya para malaman namin kung wala [siyang] internal damage sa katawan niya,” the actress told fans through her Instagram page yesterday, Aug. 17. She also showed photos of Nicolo’s damaged vehicle.
(He was a victim of a hit-and-run and his car fell off a cliff, but through a miracle, my son was not injured. He got an x-ray to make sure there is no internal damage to his body.)

Delas Alas then credited her son’s “second life” to her faith in God, through another Instagram post also yesterday.

(God, thank you for your kindness and for this miracle you brought into our lives. Thank you for my son Shaun Nicolo’s second life.)
Article continues after this advertisementDelas Alas also showed a screenshot of a conversation she had with her son, who told her he did not suffer any internal damage. Nicolo only had a bruise on his hips after the accident.

Nicolo and his sister Sophia are delas Alas’ children with her former husband, singer Miguel Vera. She also has another son, Sancho, from a past relationship. JB
