Jennylyn Mercado and Xian Lim are officially starring in their first project together, the upcoming GMA TV series “Love, Die, Repeat.”
This was confirmed after the actors attended a virtual story conference for the series, as seen on Mercado’s Instagram page yesterday, Aug. 16.
“Storycon in my pajamas because why not? Love, Die, Repeat, coming to you bessies real soon!” she said.
Fellow actors Mike Tan, Gardo Versoza, Valerie Concepcion, Shyr Valdez and Kim Domingo are joining the two in the series’ cast.
Meanwhile, Lim teased his first project with Mercado by showing part of the series’ script through his Instagram Stories on the same day. He also showed photos of the virtual story conference.
“Love. Die. Repeat. Soon!” he said.

Mercado and Lim’s co-star Valdez also expressed excitement over the project by showing photos of the meeting with the words “soon [at] GMA Kapuso” bannered, through her Instagram page also yesterday.
“Now it can be told. Soon! ‘Love, Die, Repeat’ the storycon. [Jennylyn Mercado] and [Xian Lim] on their first team-up,” she announced. The series will be helmed by “Meet Me in St. Gallen” director Irene Villamor.
Mercado and Lim’s onscreen pairing comes after speculations that the ABS-CBN talent will be transferring networks after he co-hosted a TV special in GMA last month. The actor has neither denied nor confirmed the supposed transfer as of this writing. /ra
