Barbie Imperial looked like an ethereal and whimsical fairy during her fantasy-themed photo shoot as she celebrated her birthday.
The actress donned a pink crystal-laden Mara Chua dress with a floral headpiece, while her surroundings were decked with various pink and white flowers, as seen on her Instagram page on Friday, July 30.
“At a young age, I was fueled by tales of the power of dreams. It coalesced with the beautiful reality inculcated in me — that dreams will remain dreams if you don’t work hard for them,” she said.
Imperial’s birthday photos were captured by celebrity photographer Shaira Luna while behind-the-scenes videos were taken by Nice Print Photography.
Imperial also channeled her inner pixie during the photo shoot by wearing a yellow-green tulle dress paired with fairy wings, set designer Blooms Event Styling showed through its Instagram page yesterday, July 31.
“More photos from [Barbie Imperial’s] dreamy [fairy tale]-inspired birthday shoot,” it stated while displaying photos of the set. The events stylist also explained that the photo shoot “captures the free-spirited Barbie” and “pays homage to her inner magic.”
“This set encapsulates her transformation from one soft-spoken lass who speaks directly to your heart to a classy artist with her talent at the forefront of everything,” it added.
Imperial received birthday greetings from friends in the showbiz industry, including fellow “Pinoy Big Brother” alum Joj Agpangan, actress Sunshine Cruz and director Theodore Boborol. JB
