Iconic Pinoy rock band Eraserheads’ singles “Sabado” and “1995,” including its remixes, will be making their way to vinyl soon.
Record label Offshore Music and former E-heads frontman Ely Buendia announced the upcoming vinyl earlier today, July 21, via Instagram.
“Eraserheads ‘Sabado/1995’ 45 RPM, 12” EP. First time on vinyl. The Esquire Recordings includes remixes by DMAPS and Lustbass,” said Buendia, who owns the said independent local label.
Offshore Music, meanwhile, specified on its Instagram page that the vinyl’s “Sabado” remix was done by DMAPS, while the “1995” remix was done by Lustbass.
“Sabado” and “1995” were released back in 2014 as part of the beloved band’s collaboration with Esquire Philippines‘ travel issue then.
The songs also came with music videos directed by award-winning filmmaker Erik Matti.
Offshore Music noted, however, that preorders and reservations are not available yet as of today. /ra
