Gazini Ganados looked back at her journey in the Binibining Pilipinas pageant, as she ended her two-year reign as the last Bb. Pilipinas Universe title holder.
Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. chose the Philippines’ Miss Universe candidate for over 50 years, until it parted ways with the Miss Universe Organization in December 2019. A separate Miss Universe Philippines competition has since been established, led by Miss Universe Philippines 2011 Shamcey Supsup.
“You may have missed my farewell walk and speech due to technical issues. I’d like to acknowledge the people who supported and helped me relentlessly,” the beauty queen said on her Instagram page yesterday, July 14.
Ganados showed photos of herself from the 57th Binibining Pilipinas coronation night, where she bid her title goodbye in a yellow mermaid gown.
“Our journey has finally come full circle. My life changed forever,” she added, thanking her fans for supporting her throughout her Binibining Pilipinas journey.
Ganados gave thanks as well to the recently crowned Binibining Pilipinas queens for “taking this leap of faith” and reminded them to do all things “with all your heart.”
“A binibini has the voice to inspire others, a compassionate heart to act [and] a determination to carry on. That is beyond beautiful,” she declared. “This is Gazini Ganados your last Binibining Pilipinas Universe.”
The beauty queen also displayed a silhouette photo of herself from the recent pageant, through another Instagram post on the same day.
“Closing this chapter with a grateful heart!” she said. “Thank you [Binibing Pilipinas].”
Ganados earned her Binibining Pilipinas crown in June 2019 and represented the Philippines during the Miss Universe 2019 pageant. JB
