Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold is still ecstatic over winning in the national pageant and honored late family members after earning her title.

Arnold, a Filipino-Australian who represented Masbate in the contest, is also a forensic scientist and free speech advocate.

“Dreams really do come true,” Arnold declared while showing her crowning moment on her Instagram page today, July 13. She vowed to “continue [the] legacy” of former titleholder and her “Binibini sister” Patch Magtanong.

“I will forever cherish this moment shared with the ever so kind, inspiring and loving [Patch Magtanong],” she added. “My Binibini sister and friend; I will use my entire mind, body and soul to make sure I continue your legacy.”

Arnold paid tribute to late family members who she considers “guardian angels” for watching over her throughout the pageant. She then showed some parts of her performance in the evening gown segment of the competition, through her Instagram page yesterday, July 12.

“I offer this to my guardian angels — Nan, Pop, Lola and Mama Sharon who believed in me and my dreams. I know they were watching from above and guiding my every step last night,” she said.

Three of Arnold’s fellow aspirants were also crowned during the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night: Samantha Panlilio as Bb. Pilipinas Grand International, Cinderella Obeñita as Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental and Maureen Montagne as Bb. Pilipinas Globe. JB
