South Korean boy group EXO member D.O. will have his first ever solo album, which is scheduled for release next month.

South Korean broadcast media outfit SPOTV reported this exclusive today, and shortly after, SM Entertainment issued a statement to confirm it.

“It’s true that D.O. will release his solo album at the end of July. Please look forward to it,” his agency said in the atatement.

Earlier after his return from his mandatory military service, D.O. informed his fans that he had started working on songs for his first solo album, only after being with the group for nine long years.

Back in 2019, he released a digital track entitled “That’s Okay,” which received acclaim from fans and the general public who listened to it.  /ra
