‘Captive’ preem at Shang’s French fest

Filipino filmmaker Brillante Mendoza’s “Captive” will have its Philippine premiere in the 17th Citi-Rustan’s French Film Festival to be held at the Shangri-La Plaza mall next month. “Captive,” which top-bills French actress Isabelle Huppert and Filipino actors Ronnie Lazaro, Raymond Bagatsing and Sid Lucero, was the country’s entry to the Berlin film fest last February. The French fest runs from June 7 to 17. Bayani San Diego Jr.
