“I miss your morning song, rap, dance and I miss our late night chitchatting,” Tochigi reminisced.
“Thank you so much for always making me laugh. You are the best roommate I could ever ask for!!! Love you so much babe!!!” she added.
Mateo, meanwhile, appreciated Miss Japan’s heartwarming words and admitted to getting emotional upon seeing the post.
“[Aisha Tochigi] why are you like that? You are making me cry. I love you so much,” Mateo emphasized.
“You saw me at my lowest point in the competition but you were also there helping me get through everything. Mahal na mahal kita (I love you very much)! Pls visit PH!” she added.
Tochigi then replied: “Aw love [emoji] and you made my day [every day]!! Definitely going to PH! Mahal kita (I love you).”
Mateo finished the recently concluded pageant in the Top 21. Mexico’s Andrea was crowned the 69th Miss Universe on May 17. /ra
