Young star Maymay Entrata celebrated her 24th birthday yesterday, May 6, by marking her first international magazine cover for this year.

Entrata graced the cover of Dubai-based luxury magazine Xpedition with stunning photos taken in the United Arab Emirates’ highest peak, Jebel Jais, she shared on Instagram yesterday.

“Cocooned in a monitored home where she first opened her heart, graced an international fashion show where she dignified art… vindicating a journey of lessons that she learned from above… and glorifying the quintessence of her true, Higher Love,” Xpedition said of the young model via Instagram as shared by Entrata herself.

“[Xpedition] presents @Maymay’s first international cover this 2021 shot in the UAE’s highest peak – the unforgettable place where she was first hailed as an international model, produced by #JoshYugen – the same producer behind her historical and successful Arab Fashion Week debut,” it added.

Entrata exuded elegance matching that of the breathtaking scenery of Jebel Jais in the shoot, where she donned several dresses from avant-garde fashion label Amato Couture.

In her most recent post, Entrata thanked everyone who helped her become who she is today as she celebrated her birthday.

(Even if I passed one of the most difficult challenges in my life and even if until now I am still in the midst of a challenge, which is not only from the pandemic but also personal, there are still so many things to thank for, and one of them is the unconditional love of my loved ones, who accept me as I am, which is something I will carry with me forever as inspiration.)

“Hindi ko hahayaang masira pa ang napakagandang binigay ng tyansa ng Panginoon na tatagan ko pa ang sarili ko and continue to live right,” Entrata added.

(I will never allow myself to ruin this very generous chance that God gave me to be stronger and continue to live right.)

The post came with several photos of Entrata beside many bouquets of flowers and cakes she likely received from her loved ones.

(My birthday is a celebration not only for me but also for those who continue to let me feel real love.)

She also noted that she will continue praying for others to get through their own struggles, saying that she trusts God will make everything all right.

Again, MARAMING SALAMAT PO SA INYO,” Entrata stressed.

(To everyone who greeted me, even if I cannot reply to all of you, I wholeheartedly give you my thanks. I really feel all your love. I hope we can continue to spread love to everyone and understand each other because that is what we need most during these times. Again, thank you very much.)

Prior to this year’s issue, Entrata was featured also on the cover of Xpedition back in 2019. She also became the first Filipino to walk the Arab Fashion Week in November 2018.  /ra
