Chynna Ortaleza clarified that her entire family did not test positive for COVID-19, after speculations that they were infected with the virus.

“Sa mga nagsasabi po na may Covid kaming buong pamilya. Hindi po totoo. Praise God!” she said on her Twitter page on April 24. (To those who are saying that my family has COVID-19, it’s not true. Praise God!)

She also assured fans that if she were to test positive for COVID-19, she would disclose that information to the public.

“Kung meron man [akong COVID-19 ay] ako pa ang magsasabi, dahil ang pinaka ayaw ko po ay magtago ng importanteng impormasyon,” she added, saying she does not want to get others infected by the virus. (If I do have COVID-19, I will say so because what I dislike the most is hiding important information.)

The actress got the first jab of her Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine, as seen on her Instagram page on April 16. She showed a photo of herself at a vaccination site in Quezon City as she encouraged others to also get COVID-19 shots. She also gave tips for those who will be getting their first jabs.

Ortaleza is married to actor and Callalily frontman Kean Cipriano. They have two children, namely Stellar and Salem. JB
