Comedienne K Brosas has finally recovered from COVID-19 after 17 days of isolation, although she admitted that it badly affected her mental health.
“[Sensya] na di ako nakapag vlog about my [COVID-19] journey chos.. mahirap [siya] lalo na sa mental health at buti mild symptoms lang akey,” Brosas shared on Twitter last night, April 9.
(I am sorry I did not get to vlog about my COVID-19 journey… it was hard especially for my mental health, but I am thankful that I only had mild symptoms.)
“[Kaya] doble ingat po, isipin nyo na baka may mahawa kayo na di kakayanin tulad mo (So be extra careful, think about others you might infect, who would not be able to handle it as well as you do),” she emphasized.

While the 45-year-old comedienne noted that she only suffered from mild symptoms, she disclosed that she made a “last will” video in case things took a turn for the worse.
(So, no I did not get to document my COVID-19 journey, because I just did not want to, but I actually made a “last will” video. Yes, I was so paranoid and scared even though I only experienced mild symptoms, I did that, but I have already deleted it because it i I’ms just sad.)
“[Ganon] ang mental torture na dinaanan ko. [Pero] laban [lang] (That was the mental torture that I went through. But just keep on fighting),” she emphasized.

In the following tweet, Brosas reminded netizens to not be judgmental, noting that you never know what a person is going through even if you see them smiling and laughing.
[Bow]!” she said.
(That is what you call a “professional,” even though it is truly very hard, so if you can cheer others up, then go! And vote wisely next election! Bow!)

Her daughter Crystal has, meanwhile, celebrated her mother’s recovery via Twitter, posting yesterday: “Finally! Can’t wait to go home after ECQ bc I miss your luto [pleading face emoji] Labyu (I love you)!”

Brosas then retweeted her daughter’s post and shared that not being able to cook for her during isolation was depressing.
“[I] miss you sobra! Brosas said.
(I miss you so much! But I am okay because you are safe and healthy! I hope your partner cooks for you too! What’s important is that you are happy and healthy. I love you!)
