West End star Rachelle Ann Go and husband Martin Spies on March 26 finally welcomed their first child, baby boy Lukas Judah.
The “Hamilton” actress shared the good news through an Instagram post yesterday, March 30, which aptly came with her first complete family photo with Spies and their newborn.
On why they chose that name, Go explained that Lukas means “bringer of light,” while Judah means “praised, let Him be praised.”
Go, along with her family, is currently based in London, where she starred in several West End productions including “Miss Saigon,” “Les Miserables” and, most recently, “Hamilton.”
Several fellow celebrities from the Philippines have, meanwhile, showered the new parents with congratulatory messages, as seen in the comments section of Go’s announcement.
“Finally nandito na siya (he is here)!!! Congratulations, everyone!!!” fellow theater actress and Broadway star Lea Salonga said.
“Congrats mare (sister)!!!!! Motherhood is the BEST !!!!!” Jolina Magdangal also commented.
Go and Spies, who first met in New York City, tied the knot in a beachside ceremony in Boracay back in April 2018. /ra
