Rachelle Ann Go and her husband, Martin Spies, proudly revealed that they are expecting their first baby together.
The “Hamilton” actress announced her pregnancy through a vlog on her YouTube page yesterday, Nov. 20. The nearly 10-minute video featured an adorable clip of the couple in a park, where Go lovingly showed her growing belly to the camera.
Go first told Spies that she was pregnant last Aug. 10. In the weeks after, Spies accompanied Go as she underwent two scans to check on their growing baby. The excited couple also showed sonograms of their child after each scan.
“Finally we are expecting!” Go said, “I also don’t need to hide my tummy anymore.”
“We are so grateful for this new season, this new blessing,” she added. “My gosh, I cannot believe it. I’m gonna be a mama! Mama Shin and Papa Martin.”
Though they already know the gender of their future baby, they do not plan on announcing it until the child’s birth. According to the vlog, Go is due to give birth next March.
Meanwhile, the two are already preparing a nursery room for their first child.
Go and Spies tied the knot in a beachside ceremony in Boracay back in April 2018. They first met in New York City, but are now living together in London. /ra
