Fanny Serrano now on life support, Sharon Cuneta laments: ‘Hindi ko na kaya’

Megastar Sharon Cuneta disclosed that celebrity stylist Fanny Serrano is now on life support after suffering from a stroke earlier this month.
“HINDI KO NA KAYA (I cannot take it anymore). Tita Fanny is now on life support…meaning, without all the machines connected to him, he would no longer be able to breathe on his own,” Cuneta lamented on Instagram yesterday, March 24.
“I do not know what to do with myself…TF, I promised you years ago that I would take care of you until the end… I think I have kept that promise,” she added.

The Megastar noted that “this is not the end [she wants]” for Serrano, but acknowledged that it is “all God’s call and His decision” although she wishes that her friend was not in that position.
“I truly have no words to say…there are just no words for how painful this is for me and the others who love you,” Cuneta stressed.
“Bakit naman ni hindi tayo [pwede] magkita ngayon pa?” Cuneta added, seemingly referring to the pandemic. “[Pwede] mo ba ako hintayin na mayakap at mahalikan at ipaalala sayo gaano kita kamahal?”
(Of all the times, why cannot we see each now? Can you please wait for me so I can hug you, kiss you, and remind you just how much I love you?)
Cuneta then mourned how Serrano, whom she says has become like a mother to her, is now in danger just a few weeks after the passing of fashion designer Rocky Gathercole earlier this month.
“Bakit ba yung mga pinakamahal ko o tumatak sa puso ko, kayo ang umiiwan sa akin in these past couple of years lang?” the Megastar stressed.

“PAGOD NA PAGOD NA AKONG NAWAWALAN NG MAHAL SA BUHAY. Huwag muna po sana, Lord (I am very tired of losing loved ones. Please, not yet, Lord),” Cuneta added.
The Megastar on March 16 broke the news of the condition of Serrano, whom she has known for around three decades, in order to ask the public for prayers. /ra
