Nicole Scherzinger’s love advice: Work on yourself
As a woman of many hats, Nicole Scherzinger is always on the go. But when the COVID-19 pandemic put a pause on everything last year, she took it as an opportunity to make up for lost time with people she care for.“I have been such a hardworking woman my whole life and I have sacrificed time with my family, loved ones and relationships,” Nicole told reporters in a recent video group interview for her friend musical director Troy Laureta’s OPM compilation album “Kaibigan.” “That has been the silver lining.”The singer-actress-television host is currently dating Scottish rugby player Thom Evans. “I found myself in a relationship, and we had the time to develop and blossom into it,” said Nicole, the lead singer of the pop girl group Pussycat Dolls.
And for those looking for love or planning to get into a relationship, Nicole gave this piece of advice: “Work on yourself.”“If you’re not whole, then you will end up pulling from the relationship. So, it’s always better when you have two solid people. The more whole you are the more you can bring something into the relationship; you’re not just taking from it,” she said. “Use this time wisely to work on yourself, so you can give back in the most healthy way.”
Life goals Nicole has always been recalibrating her life goals, big and small. “There are a lot of distractions. There are a lot of things going in our phones alone. We should make a list of things we want to achieve,” said Nicole, who has also judged various reality talent searches like “The X Factor” and “The Masked Singer.”
“I have been reading the Bible, a lot of books. I have been doing more writing and coming up with vision board for myself,” she added. “Take that time for yourself.”
