Kylie Padilla could not help but be proud of her 3-year-old son, Alas Joaquin, as the boy stayed strong and brave after getting bitten by a dog.

“So unbelievably proud of this boy. He is strong, he is resilient and he has such a wonderful sense of [humor],” the doting mother posted on Instagram yesterday, March 11.

“Even through the scariest time of his life he proved to be even stronger than even mama and papa,” Padilla added.

Padilla also noted how this dire time even helped their bond as a family grow stronger—a welcome thought that comes amid the spread of Padilla and Abrenica’s breakup rumors online.

“It is truly through struggle we find strength and a new perspective and it is life’s way of teaching us to appreciate what we have and what is in front of us,” Padilla said.

“Family through and through,” she stressed.

Alas Joaquin, who will be turning 4 years old this August, is the eldest child of Padilla and Aljur Abrenica. He is also the older brother of Axl Romeo.

Amid the said breakup rumors in the past weeks, Abrenica recently shared his appreciation for his “Queen” and wife on International Women’s Day.  /ra
