K-pop stans from all over the world have hijacked the hashtag “#ImpeachBidenNow” to silence supporters of former US President Donald Trump.
Following Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s filing of articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden just a day after his inauguration, Trump supporters have taken to social media to support the move.
As Trump supporters rallied online, however, K-pop fans took over the “#ImpeachBidenNow” hashtag currently trending on Twitter to flood it out with K-pop-related tweets.
“#ImpeachBidenNow Trumpies Getting Excited To See This Stupid Hashtag Trending Only To Discover Its Been Taken Over And Destroyed Yet Again By Us #Kpop Stans! We Know How To Use Our Power! For The Greater Good!” Twitter user @Dianas_Galaxy tweeted earlier today, Jan. 23.
