Geneva Cruz on dressing up, posting photos of herself: ‘I dress up for me and me alone’

At 44 years old, Geneva Cruz clarified to followers that she dresses up the way she wants and shares photos of herself online not for others’ satisfaction but for herself, noting that she will do it as long as she wants and can.
“I dress up for me and me alone. I appreciate the good comments, but that’s not why I post,” Cruz said on Instagram earlier today, Jan. 15. “People forget that I am already 44 because they still see me as this 12-year-old girl whom they watched grow up before their eyes.”
“Simple lang ang sagot ko (My answer is simple)…. One day my breasts will hit my knees, so until then, I will wear whatever it is I want to wear (as long as I look good) for my freedom of expression,” the singer-actress stressed.

Although Cruz did not refer to anyone specifically, she reminded others that they should respect what other people do and do not “ruin their vibe” with negativity.
“Next time, when a person is feeling good about himself/herself…. Be happy for the person; wag kang panira ng vibe kasi ang gulo na nga ng mundo (do not ruin others’ vibe because the world is already messed up),” Cruz stressed.
“You do you, and I’ll do me. I, thank you,” she added.
Prior to the said post, Cruz showed off her alluring figure in a revealing dress, noting that there is no need for a special occasion for people “to try and look good or feel good.”
“[Because] every day is an opportunity for us to take care of ourselves. I like to think about self-care as coming back home to ourselves,” Cruz explained.
“It is easy to forget ourselves and our needs when life happens. It is fundamental for our well-being, just like oxygen and water are fundamental for our body to remain alive and function effectively. Serve yourself first so you can serve others too,” she added.
