KC Concepcion flew to Amanpulo resort in Palawan to surprise her mom, Sharon Cuneta, who celebrated her 55th birthday last Jan. 6.
“KC flew back to Manila from Palawan with our dear friend Tim Yap today to take another flight to the island where I and the rest of the family are!” Cuneta said on her Instagram page on Jan. 7.
The Megastar also shared photos of the two of them together, adding that Concepcion and Yap even brought her gifts. Concepcion gave her mom their favorite strawberry shortcake, while Yap handed Cuneta flowers.
“What a sweet surprise!” Cuneta expressed.
After Concepcion’s thoughtful gesture, she and Cuneta had an intimate dinner with the rest of the family: Cuneta’s husband, Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, their daughters Frankie and Miel, and adopted son Miguel.
Prior to her birthday surprise for Cuneta, Concepcion spent Christmas at the Megastar’s home. Concepcion is Cuneta’s eldest child and is her only daughter with her former husband, Gabby Concepcion. /ra
