Julia Barretto gave a glimpse of how she maintains her fit physique by showing a simple workout routine that she does to train her core.
The actress shared her workout on her YouTube page on Jan. 3, at the request of her fans. Prior to starting it, Barretto noted that it is one of her go-to routines especially on days she gets too busy with work.
“I do this kapag ‘di ako nakaka-workout (when I can’t work out). As much as possible, three sets,” she said. “Simple lang siya, mabilis lang siya (It’s simple, it’s quick).”
Barretto also stated that she is no fitness expert and is simply showing what exercises have worked for her.
Though she only did the routine once in the video, Barretto encouraged her fans to still strive to do it for three sets as well. As for the equipment, one only needs a mat to perform the exercises on.
Barretto’s quick routine consists of crunches, lying toe touches, heel taps, up-down planks, leg raises, side crunches, rotational crunches and planks. She did each exercise for 30 seconds before moving on to the next.
