Practice makes perfect
WHEN WE were studying at the Brooks Institute in California, our professors constantly reminded us that “it’s the brain that’s taking the pictures” and that “photographers are on the same level as lawyers and doctors.”
Taking wonderful photographs has nothing to do with the brand of a camera. It’s the photographer’s technical and creative abilities and his chosen subjects that make those great images.
Photography can be learned. As they say, practice makes perfect. To be a good photographer, you have to “see” beyond what’s in front of you. Be aware of proper lighting, and learn about camera angling.
For five Saturdays from 2-5 p.m. starting July 16, we will be conducting an Advanced Photography Workshop at our studio: Rm. 329, LRI Design Plaza, 210 Nicanor Garcia st. (formerly Reposo), Bel-Air II, Makati City. Call 899-1767.
