On New Year’s Day, Meryll Soriano reveals new baby, rekindled romance with Joem Bascon

MANILA, Philippines — Meryll Soriano surprised everyone on New Year’s Day as she revealed her rekindled romance with Joem Bascon, as well as a new baby.
“2021! May this year be kinder to all of us. May we all find peace, joy, and love,” Soriano said in her Instagram post-Friday.
In her photos, it showed Bascon kissing the baby that Soriano is holding. Another shot was a family picture, consisting of Soriano, Bascon, the baby, and Soriano’s son Elijah.

It was in January 2020 that rumors surfaced that Bascon and Soriano were back together as they worked on the ABS-CBN teleserye “Starla” starring Judy Ann Santos, Bandera reported.
Bascon and Soriano first worked together during the 2008 teleserye “I Love Betty La Fea,” where their relationship started. The two separated afterward.
Soriano was previously married to actor Bernard Palanca, but their marriage was annulled in 2015.
Bascon, meanwhile, was previously in a relationship with vlogger Crisha Uy.
