LOOK: How celebrities spent Christmas 2020
MANILA, Philippines — It’s finally Christmas, a time when celebrities can briefly step out of the limelight to celebrate with their families and friends.
Due to restrictions imposed in the country brought by COVID-19, many celebrities opted for a simple Noche Buena feast at home, or simply just spend time with their loved ones.
Here’s a look at what they were up to this Christmas 2020:
Actress Angel Locsin, who landed the Forbes Asia’s Heroes of Philanthropy list and Asia’s Top 100 Digital List this year, posted a photo with her family.
Locsin initiated a COVID-19 relief campaign in April and raised P11.3 million and aided 135 hospitals.
Dingdong Dantes, husband of Marian Rivera who was also named in Forbes Asia’s Top 100 Digital List, posted cute family photos with wife and their children Letizia and Jose.
Fashion icon and actress Heart Evangelista spent Christmas with husband Sorsogon Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero and twin step children.
“From my family to yours, Merry Christmas! 🎄 ✨ Regardless of how this year turned out, the important thing is that I have my family and loved ones with me on this very special holiday. Family is the greatest gift of them all and there’s nothing I’m more thankful for than to have them by my side. Wishing you all a blessed Christmas,” Evangelista, who was chosen to be part of this year’s Vogue 100 and one of Forbes France‘s Top 10 Luxury Influencers, wrote in her Instagram post.
This Christmas, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto reunited with his father and actor Vic Sotto after nine months.
The mayor posted a photo with father and Tali, Vic’s daughter with actress Pauleen Luna, with a caption: “First time to see Papa, Pauleen, and Tali after 9 MONTHS!”
It’s also Iya Villana and Drew Arellano’s first Christmas with daughter Alana, who was born in July. Last year, the couple celebrated holiday seasons with sons Primo and Leon.
DJ, host, and vlogger Andi Manzano posted online an adorable video of her daughters, Olivia and Amelia, with their new dog named Wookie.
“Oli’s always wanted a dog and has asked for it for 3 Christmas’ straight. GP and I saw this year would be the perfect time for them to have one! They are so happy right now and Wookie feels right at home with them ❤️,” she wrote.
Fil-Aussie actress Anne Curtis and her husband, vlogger and restaurateur Erwan Heussaff, are currently in Australia, and are enjoying the holiday season with daughter Dahlia.
