Karla Estrada marks 30 years in show lbiz: ‘Salamat sa lahat ng entablado’
Karla Estrada waxed sentimental as she looked back on her start in the entertainment industry three decades ago.
The TV host-actress posted a photo of her 16-year-old self on Instagram as she marked her 30th year in the industry on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
“[It’s] been [30 years] now??? Grabe!! Hindi ko namalayan sa sobrang dami ng nangyari (Wow! I did not realize it due to all that has happened)!” she said.
Estrada then expressed that throughout her career she had countless good experiences and only a few negative ones, which is why she did not notice how long she has been in the industry.

“Salamat sa lahat ng entablado,sinehan at telebisyon dahil [diyan] naitaguyod ko ang buhay at pamilya ko,” she added.

“[Hindi] ko man dinanas ang kasikatan, ay masayang masaya narin ako sa nakamit kong tagumpay sa mundo ng [showbiz] na tanging pangarap kong pasukin simula noong bata pa ako!” Estrada stated.
(Though I did not experience fame, I am very happy with the successes I have attained in the world of show biz, which I dreamed of joining since I was a child!)
She also pointed out how elated she is to now be working alongside her children, such as Daniel Padilla, in the industry. As she ended her post, Estrada assured her fans that she will continue to stay in show biz for as long as they still wish to see her.
Estrada began her showbiz career when a talent manager discovered her. Soon after, she joined the TV variety show “That’s Entertainment” back in 1990.
She has since starred in various productions such as the 1999 series “Saan Ka Man Naroroon” and the 2013 drama “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw.” Estrada is also a main host of the morning talk show “Magandang Buhay” alongside Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros. /ra
